Britt, it was really nice to meet you today at BlogWorld and I enjoyed discussing a few issues of common interest in the world of PR and online marketing. You have a well thought-out firm and an interesting perspective, and your blog is definitely on my list of regular places to go from now on!

It was a pleasure meeting you, Shannon. I appreciated the company. As to your blog idea, I believe that if it matters to you, and you're passionate about it, others will be too. Your concept is an interesting one. Blogging definitely takes time and more energy than you might think. Doing a blog has to be something you'd do even if you're the only one reading it. Good luck and let me know if you decide to pursue it.

Hi Britt,

I sat beside you at Gnomedex and wanted to again tell you how glad I am that I did. It was a privilege meeting you and I am certain I will be reading your blog for many posts to come. Good luck with the business, too.

I believe we both share a love of reading and an interest in the words that make up the writing. I'm particularly interested in correct usage of the grammar and precision in choosing words appropriately.

My dirty little secret: I frequently fail on both counts, especially when speaking.

Thanks,
Shannon Ehlers

PS - I've begun a small collection of books on classical rhetoric (some new and some very old) and one of my ideas for a blog is simply to present a different excerpt (one or two lines only) for each day of the year, along with some analysis or appropriate anecdotes. What do you think? Would anyone care? Does it already exist?
